Our pet photography experience is designed to celebrate the bond and love that you and your pet share, and the custom artwork that we create is the perfect way to enjoy that love and magic between you and your pet for a lifetime.

Let’s capture the love and joy between you and your pet. I will help you choose beautiful, custom archival artwork that you can display in your home. I promise you won’t be able to help but smile every time you look at it.

So, how does this all work?

  • Planning the Session

    After booking, we’ll have a planning call where we’ll get to know each other, talk about your wonderful pet, and determine your goals for your images. This is when we’ll decide the when and the where, and you can ask me any lingering questions you might have.

  • Portrait Session Day

    You and your pet will be my only clients on our scheduled session day. Our session is designed to be stress free with no rush. All you have to do is have a fun day with your pet, and you can count on me to capture the magic. No pressure and no best behavior required.

  • Image Reveal & Ordering Appointment

    A couple weeks after our session, we’ll meet virtually to look at all the beautiful moments of your pet we captured. You’ll choose your favorite images, decide how you would like to display them in your home, and we’ll finalize your order.

  • Artwork Delivery Day

    This is the part you’ve been waiting for! As soon as your custom artwork arrives, I’ll schedule a time with you to personally deliver it to you. All artwork comes ready to display. Every time you look at it, you’ll be reminded of all the joy your pet brings to your life!

  • A private, on-location portrait session for up to two pets from the same household

  • A client portal, preparation guide, and artwork guide to help you plan for your session and choose your artwork

  • Professional editing of your images (goodbye, leashes!)

  • An ordering appointment to choose your favorite images and products

  • A complimentary 5x7 gift print of your choice

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely, and I guarantee you will love the images we create. The way I structure my sessions ensures we have all the time we need to get the beautiful images you’re hoping for. You and your dog will be my only client of the day. For our session, there is no pressure for your dog to be anything other than their normal self. The best images are the ones that showcase our pet’s unique personality—that’s what makes them so special to us!

    My camera can capture your dog at up to 1/8000th of a second, which means I can capture beautiful images of even the squirmiest, most hyperactive and easily distracted dogs. I can use a long lens and shoot from a distance for nervous dogs that don’t want to interact up close. And if your dog is terrified of the sound of the shutter, I have good news! I can make it completely silent.

    This experience is for all personality types! We will take our time and make sure your dog is comfortable during our session.

  • The safety of your dog is my top priority. I will never suggest we do anything that makes you uncomfortable or puts your dog at risk. Most of the dogs I photograph are on-leash during our sessions, and I remove the leashes during post-processing. You can view a before and after example of an on-leash dog here!

  • Absolutely. Part of the magic comes from capturing the bond you have with your pet. I encourage you to join in on some of the shots. During our planning session, we’ll discuss who will be participating in the session. Please keep in mind I am not a family photographer, so the focus of my sessions will always be on the pets.

  • I am so sorry. No matter how much time we get with our pets, it will never be enough. Pets with limited time take priority in my schedule. Reach out to me and I will fit you in as soon as possible.

  • The Signature Session is $195 (plus tax). Included in the session is the time we’ll spend together planning your session, the portrait session day, the professional editing of your images, the image reveal and ordering appointment, any travel to you for the session within an hour of the Grand Traverse area, and a complimentary 5x7 gift print of your choice.

    Wall art, albums, memory boxes, prints, and other custom products to celebrate your pet are available to order during our image reveal and ordering appointment.

  • There is no minimum purchase requirement, and the amount each client spends varies depending on how many images they love and how they choose to display those images in their home. Most clients choose to purchase a combination of signature wall art and an album or memory box. Wall art pieces start at $595, albums start at $2295, heirloom memory boxes start at $1695, and add-on products start at $345. We also have signature collections available that combine several great products in one bundle, starting at $1495.

    How you enjoy your images is completely up to you, and I will work with you and your budget to help you make those choices.

  • Absolutely. While the session fee must be paid in full to reserve your session, I am happy to work with you to set up a no-interest payment plan that works within your budget and a schedule that you’re comfortable with for any artwork you choose to purchase. We can set this up during our image reveal and ordering appointment.

  • I’m based in Traverse City. My session fee includes travel within an hour of the Greater Grand Traverse region, but I’m happy to travel throughout the state! If you’re not local but are interested in a session with me, you can contact me for a custom quote!
