Ten (10) Northwest Michigan area dogs will be selected to participate in the Tails of the World book project and will receive a professional photoshoot with Amanda Lewis Photography, LLC to capture their images.
Only one dog will be chosen per application. If you want to include more than one dog in your session, you are welcome to upgrade to the full session experience.
Application submissions will be accepted until June 30, 2025, or until all spots are filled.
Amanda Lewis Photography kindly requests that you refrain from reaching out to inquire about application status, or submitting multiple applications for the same dog.
Only potential applications in consideration for a spot in Tails of the World will be contact, either with an invitation to participate in an informational call to further determine their dog’s suitability for this project and their availability, or to formally accept their spot.
By applying, applicants agree to be added to the mailing list of Amanda Lewis Photography. Applicants agree to being contacted by Amanda Lewis Photography. Applicant information will never be shared or sold and they may unsubscribe at any time.

Upon acceptance, you will be required to pay the $100 registration fee to Amanda Lewis Photography, LLC and sign the session agreement and model release.
If you do not pay the registration fee within 5 days, your spot will be forfeited and offered to another applicant.
Amanda Lewis Photography, LLC will donate 100% of the registration fee proceeds to Little Traverse Bay Humane Society.
Registration fees are non-refundable.

Each dog accepted will receive a professional photoshoot in a select location (Traverse City to Harbor Springs) with Amanda Lewis Photography, LLC scheduled through early August 2025. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to the location, your spot will be forfeited and offered to another dog, no exceptions and no refunds.
The photographer, Amanda Lewis Photography, LLC, will choose the best image of each dog to be used in the book.
Prints, products, and digital files are not included with your registration fee but will be available for purchase during your optional image reveal and ordering appointment following your session. Small products and print bundles begin at $395, and wall art starts at $695. Your total investment depends on how many images you love and how you choose to enjoy them.
Accepted applicants will have the option to upgrade to an extended session for an additional fee of $95. The extended session experience allows for more flexibility in location and scheduling, the option to include additional dogs from your household, and a $200 product credit toward artwork.
The Tails of the World book is not included with your registration fee but will be available for purchase in November 2025. 100% of proceeds from the book sales will be donated to Geelong Animal Welfare Society.
